Affine Pricing of SOFR Futures Options: More Informative Discount Dynamics

2026 · Under peer review at Quantitative Finance (T&F)

Derived an original mathematical SOFR futures options pricing model that allows a unique pathway for hedging zero-coupon discounts against arbitrarily chosen SOFR futures rates.

Linking Funding Mechanisms in Off-Chain Perpetual Futures to the DeFi Leverage Cycle

2026

Constructed a new funding rate-derived metric called “Sign-Aware Time to Zero Funding” (SATZeF) as a candidate for an off-chain regime indicator of onchain leverage, proxied by liquidation volumes.

CNC & Engineering

June 2024 – December 2025 · Caravel Academy STEM Lab, Engineer

Worked under my friend sajjan to secure $650 in school funding to design and build a CNC machine for our high school STEM lab. I helped with the mechanical design, electronics, and assembly.

Watch us almost burn down the school with the CNC

Fortunately, nothing bad happened. We turned it off promptly. It would have been much safer if we had installed the emergency stop earlier, but we learned from our mistakes and added that soon after.

Rust blockchain

Passion project (bitcoin prototype)

Rust-powered Bitcoin-mock permissioned blockchain.

This was just a passion project during christmas break of my junior year (2024). GPT sucked then so i hand-wrote all of the code. It was incredibly inefficient and stupid (fork detection was O(n^2) time). I’m pretty proud of it.

  • Proof-of-work consensus with a mining algorithm similar to Bitcoin’s
  • Longest-chain validation and UTXO tracking
  • Peer-to-peer networking over raw TCP

Anxiety

As testing day is a week away, I smile in sadness under the solemn rain, regretting my stupid choice of an AWS cert without any prior cloud experience.
